I am working on getting things together to be able to follow the Governor’s guidelines concerning meeting, and the CDC guidelines:
-Having masks available for those who do not have them
-Have an infrared thermometer to check temperatures of each individual that comes
-Signs posted about hand washing, and social distancing of 6′
-Marking off pews so that people can sit 6′ apart
-Plan in place to dismiss people in a manner that they can leave without contact with others
These are just a few of the things that have to be put in place. I am also still thinking about those that are 65 years and older, those that have health conditions, pregnant sisters, and children. And the suggestions that the Governor has put out concerning people who fall into these categorical groups as not taking the risk.
I know there are other groups who are starting to meet, and are not following hardly any guidelines: no masks, no temperature checks, no 6′ distancing…My view concerning this is that I am not responsible for what other groups are doing, I have the responsibility of the flock that God has put under my care. I am approaching this with much thought and prayer. I will let everyone know when I have a tentative date in mind.
